DIESEL CHINESE NEW YEAR 2026
A year of intense transformation begins February 17, 2026. The Year of the Horse commences, bringing fast-paced change and momentum through February 5, 2027.
Today Diesel unveiled a nine-piece capsule conceived by creative director Glenn Martens as an expression of the Horse’s full-force spirit through denim, Track Denim, T-shirts and hoodies.
Synonymous with passion, freedom, individuality and rebelliousness, the Horse reflects Diesel’s core values of nonconformity, self-expression and energy.
The unbridled horse, flames tracing its mane and tail, appears in a range of treatments, from archival-inspired graphic prints to embroidery. Vintage-inspired T-shirts and a hoodie feature the horse print and Year of the Horse graphics.
The men’s D-Macro jeans and women’s D-Sent jeans are embroidered with a horse on the back pocket with pocket linings featuring red bandana-inspired micro horse prints. Matching Oval D Track Denim hoodie and pants are done deep, faded burgundy, a reference to the traditional red of Chinese New Year and Diesel’s iconic red codes. The collection conveys the fast-paced evolution, boldness and speed that the Year of the Horse brings.
