Here’s the thing. What made me think about this subject at all? Well, this morning I really got intrigued with my inbox! When I opened it, right on the very top two extreme juxtaposition, or very controversial, emails popped up on my screen.
One saying on the subject line: Skinny jeans are back
And the next one’s subject line: Big/bigger/the biggest
(Scroll down to find out about who’s who!)
So ok. We can swing either way. But how come I can’t recall receiving emails about any “middle” denim style? Why do we have to go extreme one way or the other?!?!
But then, as always, with our curiosity peeked, we made a point out of checking all three options – skinny, big, “middle”.
Skinny and Skinnier
The latest Frame collaboration is happening right now.
They teamed up with Alix Earle on a co-branded collection marking the return of the skinny jean, The Alix,
The Alix features a super skinny style and is available in a medium vintage blue as well as in a sleek black coated wash.
And then there is SPANX. Launching the SPANXSCULPT.
SPANXsculpt ReDefine Denim is their newest collection and, according to the brand, sculpts your body in denim.
Big – Bigger – The Biggest
This was the subject line featured in the email from our friends at Levi’s. Remember – “Live Loose“! Check out our recent feature about their loosest ever jeans. And now Levi’s is confirming. They are going big, very big, in the coming seasons.
And let’s not forget about Urban Outfitters. Their latest drops include very cool baggy and extreme wide-leg jeans definitely worth having a look at.
Which leaves us with above mentioned “middle”
Way. The straight leg jeans.
So stay tuned here. In the next days we’re going to explore some of the most exciting options for all skinniest, biggest, and middles.
