In an unexpected, yet exciting, collaboration Carolina Herrera has partnered with FRAME for its first ever limited edition capsule collection.
The capsule, which debuted at the Carolina Herrera Resort 2024 runway show in Mexico City this November, fuses Carolina Herrera’s classic elegance with FRAME’s expertise for denim. Thus creating a fresh and modern take on tailored denim pieces that are both stylish and versatile.
The collaboration between the two brands was born out of friendship and shared creative vision between FRAME’s Co-Founder and Creative Director, Erik Torstensson, and Carolina Herrera’s Creative Director, Wes Gordon.
They both had long admired each other’s work and wanted to create something that would marry the worlds of high fashion and everyday wear. The idea behind the collection was “What does the Carolina Herrera client wear when she’s not in a gown?”
The result of this collaboration is a capsule collection that reinterprets classic denim styles with an elevated approach. Five key pieces, each a fresh take on the timeless fabric, The Taper Jeans, The Tailored Denim Jacket, The Denim Ball Skirt and The Corset Mini Skirt.
Each piece is offered in a range of vibrant hues, drawing from Carolina Herrera’s famous color palette, including Herrera Red, Marigold, Celeste, Currant Cranberry, and White. These bold colors provide a refreshing contrast to the usual denim blues and inject an air of sophistication into the capsule.
The pieces are designed for women who appreciate both comfort and style, offering the perfect combination of denim’s laid-back appeal with Herrera’s polished sophistication.
Prices range from $498 for The Corset Mini Skirt to $1,198 for The Denim Ball Skirt. Shop the entire Carolina Herrera x FRAME collection on FRAME’s website.
