This year Rag & Bone announced Robert Geller as their newest head of menswear design. According to the brand’s recently named executive chairman, Andrew Rosen, the company has been “sleepy” for a little while. But now it’s time for it to wake up again!
{For those of you who don’t know it yet, the Rag & Bone has been acquired by GUESS in partnership with WHP Global.}
Robert Geller, the German-born designer unveiled his first collection this fall. And below, let’s have a look at next year’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection.
“From its inception, I have been a fan of Rag & Bone and its menswear which is rooted in quality and authenticity,” says Geller. “I also believe that our customer wants to look his best without having to compromise on comfort. My objective with the collections is to introduce a renewed sense of ease, and to evolve the beloved core pieces by incorporating refined and innovative fabrics into well-made clothes that will enable men to move through life confidently, matching the grit and edge of the New York City spirit.”
We get the idea of authentic and comfort. And if this is what you are looking for, you will certainly find it this collection. Easy going pieces. Jeans that are neither too fitted nor too baggy, simple and classic “you can wear anytime anywhere” styles. Practical clothing, as Geller himself defines it.
“Men need pockets. You need places to put your phones, keys, and things because we often don’t wear bags.”
Yes, come to think of it, Geller got this absolutely right! I can’t think of any guy I know who doesn’t stuff his pockets full with things “he might maybe need on day”. Or are essential to his daily survival like keys and wallet.
You can shop for the current fall/winter Rag & Bone collection on their website, at Bloomingdale’s, and at Nordstrom.
We will be posting about the women’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection here ASAP, so, ladies, stay tuned!
